Tomi School participated in the business mission to Sofia, Bulgaria, organized within the framework of the Ministry of Interior – Sector Macedonia & Thrace (ΥΜΑΘ) initiative aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and promoting business and educational extroversion across the Balkans.

The mission formed part of a broader strategy titled “Strategic Balkan Extroversion”, designed to create new channels of collaboration between institutions, businesses, and organizations across the region.

Strengthening Partnerships and Opportunities

During the visit, meetings and discussions were held with representatives of institutions, organizations, and universities in Bulgaria, focusing on cooperation in areas such as:

  • education

  • entrepreneurship

  • cross-border cooperation

  • international student mobility

The mission was attended by the Director of Studies of Tomi School and Head of New Partnerships, who had the opportunity to meet with representatives of Bulgarian universities and academic institutions.

These meetings further strengthened Tomi School’s already established collaborations in Bulgaria, where the institution has been actively supporting students pursuing Medical and Pharmacy studies for many years.

Tomi School and Studies in Bulgaria

Today, Tomi School is the only Greek academic consulting institution that prepares and supports the largest number of Greek students choosing Bulgaria for Medical and Pharmacy studies.

With many years of experience and strong partnerships with Bulgarian universities, Tomi School provides comprehensive guidance to students who wish to pursue studies abroad.

Looking Ahead – Business Mission to Belgrade

Following the successful mission to Sofia, the next business mission has already been announced and will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, on March 30–31, 2026, again organized under the initiative of the Ministry of Interior – Sector Macedonia & Thrace.

The mission aims to:

  • highlight the business potential of Macedonia and Thrace

  • create new communication channels

  • foster new collaborations across the region

The program will include specialized working sessions on entrepreneurship and supply chain, B2B meetings, and a networking event at the Greek Embassy in Belgrade.

Moving Forward

Tomi School continues to actively participate in initiatives that strengthen collaboration between educational institutions, businesses, and governmental bodies across the Balkan region.

Such initiatives contribute to creating new opportunities for students who wish to pursue international studies and gain access to leading universities across Europe.
